Multi-perspective modelling in project C1 shall enable for access of stakeholders from their different interests and level of education on the efficacy of sustainable manufacturing. Human capital as the most powerful potential for successful assets implementation is to be developed in project C2.

Experimental economic research for enabling human initiative contributes by identifying strategic interaction and incentives for activity in project C3. Game theoretical models of social cooperation are put to test by laboratory experiments.

Learning and teaching for improved cognitive and physical abilities of working humans can be considerably more efficacious by methods and systems for human centric automation. Project C4 addresses the automated support and control of human movement and coordination during physical work.

People from all over the world must be encouraged to actively engage for the process of change to sustainable value creation by innovative means of learning and teaching such as the method of design for mediation. In line with this approach Project C5 is on the development of learnstruments i.e. objects automatically demonstrating their functionality to the user.

The main research goal is to develop methods and tools for learning and teaching in process area C and thereby considerably enhancing the productivity in conveying the challenge of sustainability to billions of humans in the global village. Further research on learning and teaching methods with regard to sustainable development is conducted in the cross-sectional project PA.
